Golf has shaped every stage of my life.
As a junior golfer, I was one of the top players in my graduating class, earned NTPGA Player of the Year honors, and competed in AJGA and TJGT events before playing NCAA Division I golf at the University of North Texas. I later competed professionally, earning three professional victories and winning the Denton Country Club Championship six times.
For the past 15 years, I've served as a high school head golf coach, leading teams to seven UIL State Tournament appearances and being honored as the North Texas High School Golf Coaches Association (NTHSGCA) Coach of the Year.
Today, I'm also experiencing junior golf from another perspective—as the parent of a high-level junior golfer. That journey has reinforced what I've learned throughout my career: success in junior golf isn't just about talent. It's about making the right decisions at the right time.
I've seen families spend thousands of dollars on tournaments, instruction, travel, and equipment without a clear plan. I've also seen families maximize their child's potential through smart decisions, consistent habits, and realistic expectations.
That's why I created JR Golf Blueprint.
My mission is simple:
"To help junior golfers and their families navigate every stage of the game with confidence—from first tournaments to high school golf and college recruiting."
Whether your golfer is just getting started or pursuing the next level, my goal is to provide your family with a personalized blueprint built on decades of experience as a player, coach, and parent

Player Credentials
Long before I became a coach, I was a junior golfer chasing the same goals and dreams as the families I work with today. That journey led me to compete at the highest levels of junior golf, earn a Division I scholarship to the University of North Texas, and play professionally.
Competing at every level taught me lessons that still shape the way I coach today. Success in junior golf isn't determined by talent alone—it's built through smart decisions, consistent development, and having a clear long-term plan.
My playing experience allows me to see the game through the eyes of both the athlete and the parent, helping families make informed decisions with confidence every step of the way.
